Zero Nine One Seven Four

It was a very nostalgic evening last night when I treated my "cousins" Mae and Joy for dinner at Dencio's - Paseo Center. Although not my real blood-cousins, they had been very close to me during the late years of my college and Mayatot even called me "cuz" na din. They're actually first cousins of Ning, a classmate back then and my "she-who-got-away"... my regret. I so loved her and I know it was sort of unfair for the other ladies that have been a part of me but Ning was a real-life model of what I want on a girl.

True enough. Hehe. I've moved on now (of course! antagaaaal na kaya nun) and my preferences have changed a bit but our memories still brings an unsolicited smile on my face... whether dahil sa katangahan ko noon or sa mga masasayang moments ko with her kahit papano. She's married now with two cutey kids and I'm so so happy with what become of her life. I'm really really proud of her.

And so the night went on, I passed by Mae's office and we went straight to Starbucks first while we waited for Joy who'll be dropping by from Ortigas. Kwentuhang malupit. I haven't had the chance to hangout with these guys and "talk" for the last four or five years so the catching up won't be that quick.

It felt weird na dati ang "nene" pa ng mga batang 'to and now they've got careers of their own AND we were actually talking about OUR careers. Astig. Feel ko tumanda na naman ako by a notch. They still lived in the same house where I used to "hatid" Annette in Binondo and god, I miss the place. I wish I could drop by again some time. Maybe grab me some chinky girls or two... haha.

Syempre, napansin na namang pumayat ako. Chubby kasi ako nung college. Pina-cute na term ng "MATABA". Hahaha.

She's the lil cutey kid I used to play with when I was in their house. Ang laki niya na ngayon! Dalaga na. I can't imagine I was running around with her when she was just a kulit toddler. Argh... tumanda na naman ako even more!

It was nice to keep in touch again. Sayang, nakalimutan ko magkukuha ng pics. We called it a night exactly just before the Egay aftermath poured. Nakisama.
