RHGC: What other stuff besides miniature wargaming are you into?

Obi: Currently, I'm so into Airsoft. I found the "balance" there. So that it's not only a mental hobby I'm in to. Kung baga may "geekside of the Force" tas may "jockside of the Force" din. I also play basketball weekly with officemates...

Rolling Hills Gaming Club is an organization of Warhammer Fantasy Battles and Warhammer 40K players and miniature painters here in the metro. Scale modellers at heart, most of the members were among the experts of the trade here in the Philippines. The club's purpose is to promote the hobby to anyone interested and basically bolster fun and camaraderie among its members. I'm currently the club's Game Coordinator for Makati (...or that's what they declared).

Here's one of my Warhammer 40K miniature fig...

For scale comparison, the base's width is 40mm in diameter. Halos size ng 25 cents natin. This one's a Space Marine Scout in Sniper Rifle. In game terms, this model's pretty easier to kill than his more armoured comrades but it has the truest of aims and a lethal shot to boot.

It normally takes me around an hour assemblying one of these guys and another three to four to finish painting it. Gruelling, isn't it? But I find relaxation from this hobby, respite from the demands of work and even from the demands of the heart at times. Ahaaay.
