Screaming BB's and Apocalypse in Tarlac

All of em were stocked at the Shak's armoury. Mahirap na, baka mahuli sa kalsada.

Da Shak is becoming a Katrina-friendly territory. Goooood!

Langya, ansarap... panalo! Bakit ngayon lang niyo ko binitbit dun?! May sisig pa sana, kaso out of stock that time. Babalikan ko yun!

Attendance: Jubaybomber, Pork, Alex?, Dennis, Chilly Arvs, Garrkid, Phatboi Jason, Jumping Johnny, John Liit, Topher, Kuneho, Munggo, Laptop Dude (Jep?)

Grub: pulang kabayo, tuna sky flakes, hotdawg, chips, cox (lotsa dem holy liniment!)

Shak denizens trickled in and out along the course of the night slash morning.

With that, dumiretso na kami sa NLEX to meet up with our sister team... Team Apocalypse! This group's the best. They've been around the airsoft scene for quite sometime and believe it or not, most of their core members are succesful professionals and even clergies! One of them na malapit sa grupo namin ay si Pads (short for "Father"... doh!), who is a Bosconian priest (doh! "Father" nga eh) and actually a good rifleman on his own rights on the battlefield. Galing nga e, idol.

Second stop: Petrol station after Mabalacat
L-R: Inggo, Hans, Sultan, Jeng, Bruce Wayne, Jubay, Garrkid, Storm, Apocalypse Dude, Apocalypse Duo

Nakanakaw ako ng konting tulog before reaching the first stop. This petrol station in NLEX. Breakfast kami sa Burger King tas goof offs tas after mabuo yung buong contingent, we rushed it to Tarlac... around 10-14 vehicles siguro kami nun. We had another stop after Mabalacat before heading straight to Tarlac City itself.

We were welcomed by contingents of the Tarlac airsoft groups. The plan was Apocalypse and kami (Screaming BB's) against the locals. Yung unang place na pinagdalahan sa amin e medyo CQB-ish (Close Quarter Combat) at hindi configured yung lakas ng baril namin on such distances. Magkakasakitan baga. So, the local contingent transferred us on this vast jungle field further north. Aaaaaang lupet! Nag mukang mini garden yung Masada compared to this. Camp Masada was Team Apocalypse's jungle playing site in San Mateo, Rizal just some kilometers past Litex and the Batasan Complex.

The Tarlac Battlefield

So ayun, before lunch naglaro muna kami ng isang scenario. It was a looooooong game. Siguro may isang oras yun. Ganun kalaki yung battlefield at ganun kadami yung players. I was able to outlast the entire game without being hit. Ganda ng push namin at the head of Sir Storm (Joey Macfarlane). Nagagawa nya kasi ma-coordinate mabuti yung galaw ng team namin (SBB) with his mates in the Apocalypse.

After ng first game, the host teams of Tarlac brought out the grubs! Lechoooooooon!!! Waaaah, wala munang diet! Nilantakan namin yung lechon like there's no tomorrow. Sakrebloo! Meron ding chopsuey on the sides tsaka chikkin.

CA SAR Offizier M41 RIS (I call her "Arab Gun", but she'L be baptized with a purty name soon)

Ayun... an hour after ng kainan, bagsak ako ng tulog sa oto. Puyat plus sumptuous meal is equal to peaceful sleep to nyunyuland! Hindi nako nakapag laro ulit. Bale sila e nakadalawang laro pa yata na soooobrang haba din each.

General Overhaul (in Vietnam Tiger Stripes) and Major Malfunction (in US Multicam)

Diretso kami Manila afterwards. Binalak pa sana namin mag sisig sa Angeles pero out of way e kaya binitbit na lang nila ko sa Jayj's sa Timog. Masasabi ko lang... "i iz not disappointed!".

I dunno why. It was past 10pm already. Tapos na ang pyrolympics by that time to have a traffic that long in EDSA. Nakauwi ako past 1am na e. Buti Sunday kinaumagahan. Natulog ako up to sawa.

Pro Deo et Patria

Thanks goes to all the airsoft teams of Tarlac for a warm welcome and hosting the very very astig gamesday!

Thanks to our sister team, Team Apo, for extending the invite to us!

Hoohaah!!!
