Obi Kitchenomics

First, I don't cook... yes, I do fry but I don't "cook".

I'm pretty experimental with what stuffs I fry. I like mixing ingredients that I scrounged on our kitchen then fry the concoction, praying to the cholesterol gods for a good result. Fortunately, as of now, all of my products were "edible" at least. And... sa bahay, title-holder ako ng "bestest saing ng kanin" award. I dunno how I pulled it off because I don't have an exact way of measuring the water in proportion to the "bigas" but it always turns out to be just deliciously right after cooking. Anyway, those deserve another entry.

For now, I wanted to share yet another recipe that a cousin happened to "formulate" one boring night. What's special with it is that gawd it's not fried and I tried to do it myself! Alone! Yey!

Tuna Hullaballa (walang kelaman ng trip... yan gusto ko pamagat e)
by Chef Obi

Ingredients:
2 cans of shredded tuna
medium-sized bulb of garlic (diced? cubed? i dunno the term, just chop the heck out of it! And watch out for the tears!)
some onions (smashed to oblivion)
cooking oil (but i told you im not frying... so just a bit of it will do)
a tetra pack of tomato sauce
some tomato ketchup
pineapple chunks (drained)

Steps:
1. Saute (sa konyo so-tey... sa jologs gisa) onions until it turns brownish, then mix the garlic into the frying pan.
2. Sige saute lang ng saute. When the mix is ready (usually if it smells stomach-grumbling already), pour the tuna in it too.
3. Fry... no, i mean cook (hehe) the tuna until it is tasty. =)
4. Tapos, walang kaabog-abog na ilagay ang tomato sauce.
5. Mix well until the concoction turns pale red. Add some ketchup... just enough to make the mix a bit more "bloodier" in color.
6. Mix for up to 5 to 7 minutes. Kanta ka muna "Wake Me Up When November Ends".
7. Then, add the pineapple chunks, stir for a minute more, then serve!

Saraaap! Nameeeet!
