Kung Ano Ano

Biyernes
Gilligans kami ng Justice League tropa after work. Send off party dahil pumunta ng Bangkok si DD at Dan last weekend tas birthday din ni Aynz. Happy berdey Aynz! May pics sana ng happenings last Friday kaso ayun, tangay tangay din ni Dan papunta Thailand. Pustoy! Dan email mo sa kin mga ritrato naten!

Sabado
As usual, I was in UP-Fine Arts for the weekday hobbying sessions. I worked into converting one of my troop transport tank called a Rhino into a hard-hitting demolitions tank called a Vindicator.

I saw one of the IPMS members with a scratch-built lightsaber and it was amazing when he said that it'L be just only 400 to 500 bucks a piece for him to construct another one. I need two before Christmas! I should scheme soon how will I be able to ask the guy to make one for me.

After UP, we headed to the Shak to continue working on the Vindicator. Arvin brought a LOT of Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) cards from his collection. It was a card game I used to play 7 whooping years ago! That was a couple of months after I became bored playing with Magic (The Gathering) cards, and "explored" for alternatives. I used to play Unicorn Clan in L5R back then (not that iL expect you to know about it).

Anyway, we at the Shak sorted over the boxes of L5R cards and they've created several decks out of em. It was a long night as they test-played their decks while I focused on watching and re-learning the rules and gameplay strategies that I've long forgotten already.

Linggo
I headed back to the Shak and from there we stormed Greenhills to look for hobby tools and toys. I was able to buy a file set, a side cutter, and a flat black acryclic primer. Then we looked around for toys. Arvin busied himself looking for this rare Gundam Zeta model, while I oogled at Starwars actions figures and thingamajigs! I wish I was a millionaire.

After that, we charged towards Galleria and I dropped by Neutral Grounds to buy two spray cans of acrylic dark green. I need it for the tank I was working on.

Then, we watched "Doom". It "Rocks"... pun intended, especially when it shifted to the first-person point of view and relived the decade-old glory of the seat-wrenching, vertigo-inducing game of the same name. I missed the "Rock Bottom"... the Rock should have done that against the protagonist. =)

We got ourselves glutton-pregnant in this Chinese resto somewhere in Ortigas after we watched the film. The food tastes good and the price is reasonable. I got myself steamed shrimp dimsums (hakao) and a chopsuey plater.

Then, we headed back to the Shak, hanged-out for gazillions hours (some of the boyz were playing L5R again while some continued their own painting projects)...

And finally, I made it home around 3am... only to brace myself for an unevitable Monday work sickness today!

I iz sleeeepy.... Zzzzz....
