Making Love Out of Nothing at All

There's this koreanovela that my Mom's hooked into lately sa Kapuso network, "My Husband's Woman".

It's a story of a cheating husband. So to speak, we (my Mom, especially... since we don't give much attention to the series) can kind of relate to the matters of conflict of the soap. Our family being at almost the same situation.

Whenever something about cheating was being talked about on the dialogues, there'll be a point where my Mom would exclaim jokingly "KOREK!". It was fun. At least, we all have fun... me, the mom, and my sibs.

May pinauso nga ako actually na inuunahan na namin si Mami whenever such cheesy lines would come up, we all yell "KOREEEK!" ahead of her. Laugh trip.

It's cool to realize how we carried on with our lives as normal as we could and be on a situation that we just laugh about this miserable lot. It's cool how we all matured to accept that fact not because it's acceptable or we have no choice (hell NO) but because we just leave it up to the Lord to settle things and do His own terms to deal with it.

Ang mahalaga (at least para sa akin) ay nagagawa naming magpaka-saya.

*****

Speaking of saya...

With my transition to lead a new project here at work and the gynormous responsibilities that came with it plus the advent of the preparations for the SE15 Weekend plus etcetera etcetera etcetera... I decided to spend a different kind of "break" and did a Halloween weekend with the family.

So with my mommy groovey, tita, bro, sis and her twins, we hit the mall for some R&R! We passed by our granny's house along the way and my Lola was playfully patting at my tummy, kinakantyawan ako dahil ngayon na lang daw ako nagpakita. I was surprised, myself, when I tried to recall when was the last time I visited the gramps. Antagal na pala talaga. I need to rearrange my sched and drop the couple some quality time again.

At the mall, the wonder twins had so much fun. They din't have any tantrums and were so behaved all the time. I'll sure miss them when they migrate to Sydney next year.

kuma-quality time
