Five to Nine

December 5 and 6 - "Young Love, Sweet Love"

Happy Birthday Lola Acelds and Lolo Johnny Tango!

Ang sweet noh, magkasunod ang birthday nila. We celebrated their birthdays in Luk Foo near Multinational Village. With Lola was three of her amigas. One of them was the actual doctor that conducted my dad's physical examination before he entered the military waaaay back during the time of the dinosaurs.

Argh. Does it mean, I'm destined not to be? Abangan!

Gadaming pagkain. So kwentuhan muna ng malupet.

I ate to that! Lobo ang tiyan kong umuwi.

Attendance: Lola Acelds, Doktora Amiga, Amiga 2, Bading Dong, Tita Angie, Tito Sprite, Tita Ophen, Jason, Jara, Badong, Cheng, Liz & Lei, Mommy Groovy, Obi Doobie, Sponklong, Ribbons, ang nakalimutan... belat!

December 7 - "QA Team Christmas Bash"
We held it at Di'Marks in Greenbelt 3. Bumaha ng pizza at ang word of the night... "ravioli"!

Attendance: Nheys, Obi Doobie, Kring, Bubung, Nieto, Miss Mhye, Portia, Cara, Ranger Roy, Evs, Chacha, Ferdie Ferds, Jama, ang nakalimutan... belat!

December 7 - "SBB Christmas Bash"

Yung grupo namin sa airsoft - "Screaming BB's" - held an impromptu Christmas party in Gerry's Grille in front of ABS-CBN, Timog. Shot shot lang, kainan, at kalokohan.

Halos mabuo ang Team SBB with some of our Team Apocalypse friends (actually, dalwa lang silang sumipot).

Maglalaro na daw sila ulet next year.

Sakto. Mukang dadami na ulit ang grupo. In time para sa plano kong trippings na gumawa ng Airsoft TV... a short program about the hobby na may halong kalokohan. Kausap ko kagahapon si Mayor about the nitty-gritties of shooting a raw show.

Attendance: Kurnel Paji, Arvs, Le Jakob, Jeng, Jinggoy, Rommel, Lloyd, Hansy, Jubay, Kuneho, Zeb the Destroyer, Obi Doobie, Val, Kornpleks, Dok Teban + GF, Attorney Brian, Jason Phatboi, ang nakalimutan... belat!

December 8 - "Bang Nights"
Tumambay kami as usual sa Fortress sa Virramall. May dalang "Bang!" si Kim. Card game siya na malupet for up to 8 players. Nakaka-ubos ng oras... up to the point na literally "nanginginig na ako sa gutom" dahil past 9pm na pala at waffle pa lang ang kinakain ko... nang hindi ko namamalayan!

Theater Mall

Commercial Break: Birthday ni Jara this day... happy happy birthday!

I met them at Starbucks Theatermall bago namin naisipang sa Starbucks Harbour View magpuyat.

Andami kong natutunang konyo term sa kanila... courtesy of their everyday konyo encounters. Basag sila samin da whole night (or morning):
TOSH - The Old Spaghetti House (hataw sa karumi gamitin sa sentence ito!)
CBTL - Coffee Beans and Tea Leaf
OL - Overlooking (sa Antipolo)
RP - Robinson's Place
...tsaka syempre yung mga klassik:
Shang - Shangri La
EK - Enchanted Kingdom

Umuwi na kami nila Ains and Gian a couple of minutes past 2AM. May airsoft game pa pala ako in 4 hours!

December 9 - "Land of the Zombies"
Aga ko nagising. Kulang pa sa tulog from the tambay last night. Met the boyz of Screaming BB's at da Shak before 8AM then we pushed to Petron-NLEX to rendezvous with the rest of the gang (Sir Gem's Henchmen). After the attendance was completed, we headed further North to San Jose Del Monte... after several wrong turns inside Sta. Maria proper.

The gamesite (dubbed Somalia) is awesome. It's on top of a rolling hill, surrounded with ample ruins and game-enhancing natural terrains. Some prominent teams that attended were SJAG and HAGIBIS. Our team merged with Sir Gem's to form what we called GPA (Gem's Private Army)... hehe.

The games were good aside from several zombies assunder (you can't really avoid em in airsoft these days anyway). Sinasaktan na lang namin pag may nagkukunat. They have the option not to call a hit, but they don't have the option not to feel the PAIN. Haha.

First time ko ginamit si Lawnmower, my AK-74 pain gun. Inuna ko ginamit yung much friendlier HK-51 during the first two games but in cases of severe zombie-isms, some hurting should be called for.

Attendance: Kornpleks, Val, Obi Doobie, Jubay, Jeng, Jinggoy, Meng, Zeb the Destroyer, Xerxis, Garrkid, Hansy, Storm

Eh nagkayayaang mag inuman...

December 9 - "SBB Christmas Bash Part Deux"

Happy Horse (noun) - Pulang Kabayo beer variant; Urban legend has it that for every case of Pulang Kabayo there's a single "Happy Horse" that kicks more powerful than a regular Pulang Kabayo bottle. It was so coined because of the alleged smile on the horse of its markings. It could also be easily discerned from regular bottles through the label behind it which was written in red.
