Cutoff Time

I attended this mass in Greenbelt just a couple of hours ago. Ang ganda ng homily ng pari. It was a series of short stories that mostly I heard already anyway but one topic touched me in a peculiar way. Sakto sa pinagdaanan kong trobol over the holy week.

He adapted a phrase from the movie Pay It Forward - "The world is a shithole."

His words exactly are... "the world is full of disappointments but we have the capability to flip it for our good". Basically, he just wanted to tell that there are bright side to things and all you need to do is believe in it. Accept it.

Life is a fuck. And no matter how unaccountable somebody's riches are or how jack (short for "jackpot"... haha!) you are with your dropdead trophy partner, these people's lives - like all of us too - are still bound to fuck in one way or another... sooner or later. In the end it's just a matter of contentment and how you view things that will keep you moving on with life.

Para sakin, hindi ko pa din alam hanggang ngayon kung ano yung brighter side ng trobol ko. Either that, or I'm just not ready to face it yet. Kung ano pa man yun, I'm just being thankful that I have Bro God to turn to.

Sabi nga ng isa sa mga paborito kong superhero na si Captain Hammer, "SO, this is how pain feels like!"
