Not Another Zombie Flick

Me being ME, I made sleeping 2 to 3 in the morning and going to work the next day a typical habit. This past week was among the worst.

Tuesday (bedtime - 3AM)
Greenbelt / Manila Pen
Dinner with JB and some present and ex-colleagues. The former was an HR in our Sydney office until she moved to London for good and now she's back here in Manila for business errands.

Inuman sa Greenbelt afterwards.

Wednesday (bedtime - 2:30AM)
Las Piñas
Wala munang basketball for me.

Had a meeting with the SE14 class regarding upcoming events. I'm excited about the Bacolod trip above everything.

Videoke-time followed. I got to see SE people sing! Galing ni Shep Tish and Gelyn! Woot. Pat-in-the-back-extra-hard! :)

thanks, fans. i'm not where i am right now without you guys. haha.

And since dito lang ako sa mga taong ito makakatanggi uminom and they'L understand, I only grogged down a bottle of Saint Mike's Light Barley. I can see a more abundant alcoholic binge in the coming days. So I regulate while I can!

Thursday (bedtime - 3:30AM)
Greenbelt / Manila Pen
Part 2 of JB's night outing.

This time she wanted the night to be a bit longer! Four cocktails down the drain in Absinth after a very very terrific dinner at John and Yoko's (Greenbelt 5). I always have to reiterate how divine their shrimp-mango pizza tastes! Totally wicked for its price.

What surprised me was the fact that I din't feel groggy after downing much of the red concoction (and I'm not the liquor-type to boot!). It must be the great food in J&Y's! It JUST should be it. Haha.

sinong lasing ha? may lasing bang nakangiti?!!

Friday (bedtime - 4:00AM)
Greenhills / Chinese resto, Pasig / Tita's Condo, Roxas Blvd. / Pan Pacific Casino, Malate
Off to Greenhills with Bozz Gelo (cranky and all with 6 bottles of barley inside his belly) to meet Jubay to submit documents for our airsoft guns. Jubay and Tina treated us for dinner (the wife was promoted) at a Chinese resto (Jade's?) in Pasig.

After filling out the papers, I met Tita 9 and Idol Pinsan in Malate. Major hangout with Idol at Istarbuko-Adriatico. Nakaka-miss dito!!! Just a year ago, we've always been here. Parang bahay lang. Tambay lang with Idol and Pouty. Waaah, nakaka-miss ka Ly!

peborit istarbuko-adriatico pic ko with Iday/Pouty/Ly/Batgirl/High Mentenans.
extra pa si Idol! muntik pa ko maputol!
oo na, Aina... mushy na kung mushy! Haha!

After much catching up, we headed to their condo so I could start working on her new PC. But the power source acted up (with sparks and smoke!) so it'L have to wait until the next morning.

Lamentation.

Saturday (bedtime - 3:00AM)
Tita's Condo, Roxas Blvd. / Manila Yacht Club / St. James the Great Parish, Alabang / Laiya, BF Homes / Manong's, Alabang
Early in the morning, I have to rush back at Tita 9's place and was able to fix the PC in record time.

Walked - no, strode! - to the MYC just in time to catch Gelo and Lou. Del followed soon with news from the Outreach (that I missed because of the PC works... lamentation!). Point-to-point race against "Jo de Ros" and another yacht ensued next. Ron was kind enough to have the boat stay longer in the waters so they could to teach us more stuffs about sailing. Truly, it has been very very educational!

malayo ang tingin, wala namang tinitignan

After sailing, me, Lou, and Del had some sausage moments in BF for dinner and TBC (two-bottles club) while waiting for the time to tick.

We arrived at the St. James MPH just in time for the PM. It was awesome how I was half-asleep (total wastage!) during the sharings but when the PM started, I din't feel sleepy at all. It was as if God, Himself, was prodding me with that extra energy to spend in worship. It felt good. Ang galing.

Gathering at Manong's followed next. I was running on sugar and caffeine just to keep me awake and sane! I had leche flan, buko pandan, sago gulaman, and brewed coffee. I missed the class. Sayang, hindi lahat pumunta. Thanks Pam and Del for the hitch!

Sunday (bedtime - 1:30AM)
La Mesa Eco Center, QC / Thomas Morato Ave. / Da Shak, Kamias

Meet up at Hobby Depot - Morato for the day's gunbang action in Pugad Lawin.

It was a nice day of fun airsoft action! Gelo forgot to remind Jun to get his spanky new gun so Layla (my HK51 rifle) has to suffer the hands of the Big Ork Bozz yet again. Good thing injuries that time was kept to a minimum with only several welts here and there. Jeng who had a nasty gash on his face from last week's games wasn't present because of work.

knockout sa twins si Goliath

At home, I thought better to spend time with the twins first before sleeping. Kahit sooobrang pagod at antok na ko. It all fades playing with these kulitis! They're growing up even faster when I was always out of the house.

*****

Ayun, zombie-mode ako up until today. Just now I was having another round of coffee (impyernes, ang sarap ng Dark Mocha... hope it'L stay as a regular) with Boy Bawang combo! I can barely keep my wits up but I'm looking forward (finally!) for a good sleep this evening.

Ang ayoko lang, a LOT of good film have escaped and still escaping me already because of my lakwatsa spree - Kung Fu Panda, Narnia 2, Wanted, Hulk 2, what else... alam ko meron pa eh (Caregiver? Hee hee!).

All in all, the week was a sweet escape. I want to maximize everything while I can. Most likely, everything will not be like these kapag may GF na ako. And like what I learned from Bozz Gelo (who has equally varied circle of friends too), it pays to cycle around your friends and loved ones and allot equal attention with them as much as possible.

Thanks God for ALL of these!
