March Seven

Having one of those days when the need for something random hit me, I opened Wikipedia (just a couple of minutes ago) and browsed its entry for "March 7" - my birthday. I was reading the stuffs there and at first I just got entertained with the events that happened on the date. Nothing really big, as in "HUGE" big, that they made an impact on our civilization... maybe except this one where the Roman Emperor Constantine I declared "dies Solis" or Sunday (day of the Sun) as day of rest in March 7, 321. Most likely the reason (aside from several biblical associations) why until now Sunday is a weekend.

Another thing that interested me was the fact that most people born on the same date as I were mostly practitioners of the arts (actors, musicians, and writers topped the list). I have this belief kasi in astrology that people born on the same star sign have significant similarities. And impeyrnes, almost all the people I know that belongs to my sign have some similar qualities and/or behaviours with me. And as the Wikipedia list proved, halos fascinated and fond kami lahat with the arts.

So I scrolled down for more people born on March 7, checking the stuffs from time to time on their related links when someone got my interest. There was this Richard Heydrich (b. March 7, 1904). A German officer of Hitler's Nazi party. Binasa ko din yung mga bagay about him. And I've always thought that Piscean compassion is utmost, but this guy was responsible for thousands of Jewish massacred during the World War Holocaust. Shame.

Pinaka pinaka natuwa ako though, was when I saw Rachel Weisz's name in there. I was like "waddapak Rachel Weisz is a March 7... for the win!!!" deep inside. Ang kyut kyut nya and her beauty's soooooo compelling.

Anakan mo ko!!! Puh-leeaaaaseeee!!!

May resemblance di ba... hehe.

Obi! Move on. Hehe.

Eto ang catch. I scrolled down some more and there was a Gerald Anderson - Filipino actor and model. I was like "eh??". I browsed its link and truly, si Gerald Anderson nga. Haha. March 7 din pala yun. Di halata. Sabagay preho kaming cute (ang kumontra, aabangan ko mamya sa labas pagkatapos ng recess!). Ang alam ko talaga na March 7 sa local celebrities e si Rica Peralejo. Same year pa kami.

Other interesting happenings on a March 7:
* Deaths: Saint Thomas Aquinas (1274) and Aristotle (384 BC)

* Feast Day of Saints Perpetua and Felicitas, Patron Saints of Married Women (203 AD)

* Holiday: Nyepi in Indonesia (Balinese Day of Silence)
