Bye Birth Month

Friday
Sinundo namin si Cheng sa work before heading to Blue Wave. I treated the family in this Chinese resto there. Si Sponklong ang pinapili ko neto. Post graduation celebration niya. He graduated two days earlier but he only had a measly pizza box for a feast. Inupakan pa ng nagbigay at ng driver nya. Kahon ang natira. Wawa.

So to make up with my poor bro (in behalf of his pizza benefactor... insert sarcasm here), I dragged them off for dinner.

Attendance: Mommy Groovey, Cheng, Badong the Bayaw, Wonder Twins, Obi Doo, Bonski

Grub: Yang Chow rice (LOTS), beef brisket soup, beef in oyster sauce, mixed vegies, honey glazed pork, lemon chicken

I was happy they all got stuffed in gluttony. Tambay afterwards at the Pambansang Kapehan ng Pilipinas... Istarbuko! Habang yung kambal e tumakbo ng tumakbo sa paligid. Kesehodang daan daanan sila ng mga namamasyal na tao.

Ang kyuuuuut naming apat! Ang kumontra aabangan ko sa labas pagtapos ng recess!

Class dismissed at a couple of minutes past ten.

Saturday
Sumulit ng tulog sa umaga. Sabay rampage sa hapon.

I headed straight sa shop slash tambayan sa Greenhills to meet Garrik, then we zoomed in to Papa Smurf's house in New Manila for a game of 40K miniatures. We've tried out this new Apocalypse rules, involving large armies battling it out simultaenously in a literally big gaming table.

On the side of the good guys (Imperium of Man), there were Midnight and Ryan (Titan Legions), Jess (Space Marines), Henri (Space Marines), and Oberon (Sisters of Battle).

On the side of the BAD guys (Chaos United), there were Me (Renegade Marines), Romy (Dark Eldar), and Adrian (Chaos Space Marines).

Later in the game, two more participants arrived: Sigis (Space Marines) for the Imperium of Man and Lance and Joel (both Chaos Space Marines) for the Chaos United.

It was a looooong gruelling match (ginabi na kami!) that ended on us (Chaos United) as victors of the battle. I'll be posting a more detailed battle report on my hobby blog (http://butingting.blogspot.com/).

The Pouty Marine (originally painted by Iday so I was fond of this fig)

Also present to be the "miron" of the night were Garrdude, Jacketman, Mussolini, Doc Benj, Omegatron, Arvin, and Pocholo.

Grub of the night were endless turbo chicken and stomach-full supply of pansit. May konting inuman din after the game. Konti lang... mga tatlong litrong Johnny Walker. Hahaha. Jokes.

Thanks goes to Oberon. Sa uulitin, mga Sirs!

Alpha Kupal Omega fraternity initiation... Quit ka na!!??

Sunday
Bum out in the morning. Tas nagpagupit (or nagpa-ahit?) ako sa hapon. Bago kami mag grocery ni Mami at Sponklong.

Destination... Market! Market!

Bumili lang ako ng mga anik anik... at isang konyo shirt. Tas nag grocery na kami.

Ang ganda ni Aia ng Imago sa Tokyo Tokyo standee. Astig.
