UP-CFA tambay once again and it was Fred-E's birthday, our humble hangar nook was overflowing with cheesy spaghetti and literjons of the Holy Liniment... Coke!!

The day's agenda: hobby gaming, miniature modelling, appreciation of the female form and henna tattooing combined (go figure), photo ops, and the inevitable heckling and jesting.

Boys will be boys.

Before Manila Bay swallowed the sun whole, I rushed back to Tita Nine's condo near Bay Walk to meet the idol and the angel, Aina and Ly. Mga kasama ko sila sa dancegroup, catch us Girlfight at SOP Fanatics and we're currently on the road with Aaron Agassi (langya pangalan pa lang ng grupo halatang nangangarap lang ako, ahahaha). We went to Rob Manila to watch Little Man. Matapos nila ko panoorin kumain sa Tokyo Tokyo. It was fun.


Little Man
Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert!

The Wayan's are back and this time they're father and son.

"Little Man" is a story of a hopeful dad, Darryl, who can't get to convince his wife to have a baby. Calvin, a midget ex con, came to their lives disguised as a not-so-cute toddler to recover a diamond that he and his hoodlum friend, Percy, have stolen and mistakenly put inside the bag of Darryl's wife.

During the course of the "baby's" stay, Darryl and his wife have had an unlikely affection with Calvin, and so does Calvin with them. Ultimately, after several foiled plans, the midget was able to sneak away the diamond. However, he knew from Percy that his mastermind crime boss will be out to harm Darryl in search of the diamond. Choosing the dictate of his conscience, he went back to the house to save Darryl and his wife.

The general humour of the film is somehow boring in a common slaspstick way but what ticked my funnybones was the fact that Marlon Wayans looked soooo funny in that midget body. I liked it when he reluctantly do those child acts and baby talks, or when his parents (Shawn Wayans and wife) do baby things to him that's just crazy to do with adults. He's particularly goofy on those grizzly overalls and oversized baby slippers. Cute... in a National Geographic way (as one of the cast would say).

The entire movie is straightforwardly simple but how the plot was packaged was unique so I guess what will entice movie-goers to watch was the anticipation of fun on having an adopted criminal midget inside a typical family home, acting as a baby and pampered like one.

Averagely amusing. Five nata de cocos.

Regular airsoft gaming at Camp Masada, San Mateo, Rizal with the rest of the Screaming BB's. Team Apocalypse got visiting teams too: Section 8, and AIM. My H&K G3A3 assault rifle was newly overhauled to shoot BB's at 470 feet per second. That's pretty "ouchy" in airsoft perspective. *evil grin*

Suspects: Kuneho, Jubay, Munggo, Obidoo, Garrboy, Jordan, Phatboi, Jeng, Inggo, Omeng, Sultan, Joel, Manong Jerry... sa nakalimutan ko, belat!

Thanks Kuneho for the gun upgrades! Bawi ako sa yo, pre. Peksman.

After the game, we headed to Hobby Haven, Katipunan, PC network gaming naman. Walang tinalaban ng pagod e.
