"What if the democracy we thought we were serving no longer exists, and the Republic has become the very evil we have been fighting to destroy? "
~ Senator Padme Amidala, Starwars: Revenge of the Sith

It is unevitable. If it's only plausible to launch drives like Piso Para sa Pilipinas or Save Our Republic Movement and counteract the wreaking degeneration of the government then I will willingly spearhead the campaign with all-out effort. It could have been plausible. But if reading the news, watching the headlines, or just plain observing around can't rouse our government to attention then what else?

1. A call to arms and siege the Palace?
Done. The people ended up wounded, harassed, and STILL unheeded of their pleas. "Lightning never strikes twice at the same place". If the people could oust a President angst-ridden in a surgical uprising before, then experience taught them it is useless this time. And what they planned to do if they succeeded in the first place? Perhaps setup another melodramatic play to convince a Chief Justice to ignore a hard-earned, blood-paid Constitution and have some heroic figure repeat to his words and tadah! We have another leader! Parang naglaro lang ng "Dumaan ang reyna... sumayaw ng cha-cha... Boom-tiyaya... Boom-tiyaya... Boom-yeye!" Ang maituro... presidente!

But then, how far YOUR President has gone now...

...to the Dark side?

2. Another of that world-famous democratic march named after a major thoroughfare?
The first EDSA People Power Revolution acclaimed international fame as Filipinos became fierce crusaders of democracy in the eye of the world. Chinese democrats even imitated this once and ended up massacred. But once is good; twice is indulgence; and thrice is outright crazy... at iisa pa kayo?? Heck, pinagtatawanan na tayo! I have nothing against the stand for freedom. I am all thumbs up, hats down for the courage to uphold the democracy our heroes had died for. But with malignly devious minds acting puppet masters behind every uprisings... every marches to EDSA, I have no wonder why we always ended up still forsaken. We can't always bully a President down from his/her power. So if the people will start to have that streak of dissent again and win, at least try to mop up the fight with finesse... not by sacrificing blood and sweat to put another family of "trapo" in power, starting another dumb cycle of EDSA revolts. Enough said.

3. Smack-down, right-in-the-face exposès of corruption?
Let's face it. That person in power and God-knows-how-many of her "trusted" advisors are extremely educated, multi-tasking brainiacs. Matched with a power supreme above two parts of a democratic government, boy this conglomerate is a ROCK! *pun intended*

Eye witnesses? Bleuch! Ghost accounts? Dum dee dum. Voice recordings? Record their arse!

Not a little tweak of legal procedures, vulgar public deception, and a gazillion of law loopholes exploitation can't justify. It'll take years just for a formal investigation to push through. Add more years for an impeachment to be passed. Several more years just for the entire proceedings to commence. Baka naka-ilang termino at kurakot na yan, wala pa ding nangyayari sa kaso! (And help me here, law experts. Can an impeachment verdict be subjected for a plea to the Court of Appeals? Because if yes, then jeez just imagine how long all that ruckus will take.)

In short, all will just melt down, neglected and forgotten.
