Gastos! Gastos!
There's this latest craze on miniature gaming here in the metro. I mean, it's not as well-known as Warhammer 40,000 but it's definitely promising for modellers and gamers alike.
It's called Warmachine.
Set in the fantastic world of the Iron Kingdoms, ancient rivalries flame into all-out battles of hulking metallic automatons and powerful sorceries. Players take on the role of a mighty Warcaster - champion warlords whose strengths came from their ability to command and coordinate their steam-powered behemoths called Warjacks.
Currently, there are four factions to choose from: the glorious Cygnar, the fanatical Protectorate of Menoth, the horrors of the Cryx, and the brute Khador.
The gameplay is typically like Warhammer 40,000 as it is also played on a terrained diorama-like table using an army of miniatures, assembled and painted by the player themselves.
Currently, I'm more inclined to play the Protectorate of Menoth.
