Relax - See A Movie

I'm so so anticipating for Mr. Lucas' third and last installment of the pre-Imperial saga of Starwars - Revenge of the Sith. For the Starwars afficionados (like me), what's worth waiting is the, well as the title suggests, resurfacing of the dark cult of the Sith which was believed to be vanquished by the Jedi Knights a couple of hundred years ago. If we have seen the Jedi in numbers on the Starwars Episode 2 - "Attack of the Clones", here in the third episode, expect to see the insidious Sith grab the limelight from the noble Defenders of Peace.

For the not-so-fan-of-this-genre, though, don't worry if you might be "forced" to watch the movie because similar to the past episodes of Starwars, there's a touch of romaticism in the film as the "forbidden" relationship between the celibacy-vowed Jedi Skywalker and the charming Senator of Naboo (And boy how charming Natalie Portman really is!) climaxed. So basically this will not be a parody of a typical hard-core sci-fi film, but more of a poignant narrative meant to create a sense of attachment to real-life predicaments. So makaka-relate kahit sino... that I guarantee.

Spoilers aside, like the furious battle between the diminutive Yoda and his former apprentice Count Dooku in Episode 2, Episode 3 will feature another epic duel scene between a champion of good and an avatar of the Dark. I know who will be the duelers but that's for you to wait till the showing. =)

There'll be a simultaneous world premier showing on May 18 here in Manila, 10:00pm in Megamall. I already reserved a sure-seat ticket for two. Hehe. I'm not called Obi for nothing. Ha!
