Mi Dulce Angel

I'm missing somebody who used to call me Ube Sundae or Dorky. She still owes me a bigmac but uh well, I could just buy one anytime and just think of the times we talked before while I enjoy my burger.

"de nada mi necio chulo" =)

"ocupado. los mensajes solo de mi angel"

"yo anhelo usted"

"te quiero"

The Spanish lessons were cool but then...

..."wo xi huan". =) I guess the Mandarin ones were more worth longing for.

Astig when she laughed at my most dorkiest antics too. Haay, those were the days.

Anyway, as I remembered saying before : "Get well soon. We'll know each other more pa di ba."
Hasta luego!

Konstantayn

There had been some cool talks regarding "Constantine" on this forum I regularly visit. Makes me want to check out the movie a.s.a.p. but time was so so so evasive lately.

The Grand Tournament for Warhammer 40,000 will be held on mid-April and I need to rush painting my miniature army if I wanted to join the competition. Tapos, there's this plan to go to Ilocos by next week. Tapos, it will be my birthday right after this week's end. So, generally I can't appropriate a schedule to watch the movie anytime soon.

Astig.

TL nga lang.

Talsik Laway.

Sa dami ng spoilers na napakinig ko, there was one thing that caught my attention and made me even more yearning to watch the film. I heard that the Spear of Destiny is in the movie. Konting factoid lang: the Spear of Destiny was also called the Spear of Longinus. Longinus was, of course, the infamous centurion that poked his spear to Jesus's flank to ensure that he's dead. The Spear of Destiny was believed to have been imbued with uncanny powers and was rumored that it was kept by Hitler during his rise to dominance during the Second World War.

Except for the Spear of Destiny or the Lost Ark, another great artifact to hit the movie scene soon, and sure rock the blockbusters, is the Square Pants.

Whoooooooooo.... leaves in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGE-BOB SQUARE-PANTS!

Kiss Sabay Hug

Hindi ako nakapag-paint today. I woke up past 3:30pm already, only to read from a text message that my baby is sick.

She has to do it sick or not, though. Poor baby. Get well soon!

Wag ka na ulit magpupuyat ha.

Love-nat lang yan.

Kiss-pirin? *wink*

Kolehiyalo

I went to DLSU yesterday for an exam and boy how I missed college life. Can't compare CEU with DLSU though. I'm part of both and I must say that both rocks by their own reasons. It's just a matter of how students appreciated those.

CEU ako by the fact na may tindang kwekwek at isaw sa gilid. DLSU by the fact na maraming resto sa gilid.

CEU ako dahil mas totoong tao mga makakasalamuha mo dun. DLSU ako dahil masarap makalimot sa katotohanan once in a while.

CEU ako kapag nanaisin kong ma-express ang sarili ko and know that no one will give a f$%& about it. DLSU ako kapag nanaisin kong ma-test ang capabilities ko as a social animal.

I could go on with this list and I really like to but time presses. It's just weird (opo, may mga bagay pa pala na na-weweirdohan ako) that yesterday I reveled on actually being inside a university again when just three years ago I loathed it so much I wished I had instead pursued with my original plan to go to the Military Academy.

Uh well, life's full of surprise and irony... naniniwala na ko.

Brown Men Can't Jump

We have this mini basketball league every Friday sponsored by our employer. Our team (HP-GRAD) has just had our first lost earlier this evening... by only three points. Sayang.

Team Hewlett-Packard GRAD

Four wins and one loss na ang standing namin. Still, contending for Championship pa din naman.

Tingin ko ang satisfaction talaga sa basketball, or any sports on that matter, can be attained by just "playing" it out. Enjoy the game. Don't let it abuse you. Don't let it consume you. I know a lot of conformists will contradict with "put your heart on the game", "play like it's your last", yadda yadda... but hey it is still JUST a game and undoubtedly invented to promote fun. Competitions were probably held just to take that "fun" on another level and provide entertainment.

We joke around and tease a lot kahit nasa hardcourt na, and that's one of the big factors that make us standout in the league. Siguro they just wanted the Championship that bad. Sa akin, the essence of success in sports is not by grabbing every single award on the game but on how you've actually enjoyed playing. We might lose the entire season, but we'L have shitloads of fun and crazy memories. They might snatch the Championship trophy, but they'L damn bleed for it. Ano gusto mo, enjoyment or pride?

Winning is just for the egotist.

On a second thought, kung basketball ang bumubuhay sa yo or sa family mo e pucha magseryoso ka nga, makipag-balyahan ka kada game. Maniko. Manuhod. Manuntok. Mang-headbutt.

Astig maging iba.

Lifecycle of a Flip

This day has been very typical so far. Same o', same o' stuffs pa lang ang ginagawa ko pati yung mga turn of events ganun din. So what is a routine day for me? Here's a list of what a regular day looks like in my perspective.

1. I work on the nightshift, (9pm - 6am) pero hindi ako calldude ha...

calldude - a dude working for call centers; also see callbabe (Source: Diksyunaryo ni Lolo)

Given that, obviously and unusually I start my "day" in the afternoon around 2pm to 4pm.

2. iL go downstairs with my "hobby kit". *nagtatanggal ng muta on the way* Miniature painting ang hobby ko and I only find time to paint my figures right after waking up. No choice eh. Around 5:30pm, iL switch the channel to watch Spongebob. Peborit ko yun so that would be my last TV show before iL prep up for work.

One of my miniature painting master class
Papunta sa sakayan ng jeep from our house, I need to hike for 10 minutes. Mga 100+ meter walk din yun. Then, the jeep will take me to the second phase of the trip - sa istasyon ng trike...

So, no choice.

From Ayala Station, there will be another 10 - 15 minute hike to the office.

4. Then it's worktime. Blah... blah... blah... yadda... yadda... up until the next day na to. I was really surprised on how much of my friends enjoyed it. Gawin ba kong clown??

5. Kapag pauwi, it's a different ritual. Right after changing clothes, I have no other thoughts but to immediately drop down to sleep. Minsan nakanganga, minsan nakalaylay yung kamay sa sahig. I more prefer the latter.

First Entry Blabbers

There's no better time to start a weblog than starting it almost coincident to a memorable date. I never had the chance to start earlier but I knew that eventually iL be acquiring one. Besides, I believe stuffs like these are good channels to broadcast our "individuality" - the rather hidden psychological dysfunction within ourselves.

Pyschological dysfunction - "weirdo" sa mga jologs. (Source: Disyunaryo ni Lolo)

Yes yes... don't retort with something like "change me, ibahin mo ko." Loko. Weirdo ka. Weirdo ako. In one way or another, weirdo lahat tayo. You're in here, reading my stuffs in the first place when nothing in it even spells caring with matters regarding you. Ang weird noh? "Truth hurts but it will set you free", sabi nga nung prof ko sa Political Science na kumakain ng chalk.

Anyway, thanks for the time wasted.
Welcome to my life. =)

A date with the books. Ahaaay, how sweet! *insert sarcasm here*

Maligayang Puso sa Lahat!
It was already 10pm yesterday when I decided to pass by Powerbooks - Greenbelt. Nag-vacation leave ako ng Valentine's Day. Ang sweet no? I purchased one together with this Zafra book, Chicken Pox for the Soul.

My Valentine Dates. Awww.
All in all, the day wasn't that bad as I've expected it to be. Syempre aside from the fact na naki-celebrate ng Valentine's yung mga terorista, who pseudo-painted the city red... with blood. Mang-bomba ba naman ng bus. I could have been near the bombsite. Dun ako nag hihintay ng bus pauwi e. Hindi ko pa siguro time. Nice.
